Alice Thompson is an artist whose practice references the transitional and fleeting stages in our lifetime and the cast aside nature of clothing. Working with the medium of knit, she tests its durability, often knitting on a loose tension so the physical line of the knitted row is seen. The knitting sits in conjunction with hard found frames or repurposed structures. Specific colour combinations can evoke snippets of memory.
