Alice makes reference to the transitional stages in our lifetime such as babyhood and maternity, looking at the ever-changing human forms and the cast aside nature of clothing.
Working with the medium of knit, she tests its durability, often knitting on a loose tension so the physical line of the knitted row is intricately seen. The knitting sits in conjunction with hard found frames or repurposed structures. Specific colour combinations can evoke snippets of memory, captured in these visual time frames.
